Project Director/ Project Manager

Purpose

​

The Project Director/ Project Manager (PD/PM) works with the Executive Director to develop and implement effective programming to couples and their children (clients). This entails training, support, and accountability for clients, staff, and volunteers. The PD/PM will assist with organizational planning and will supervise the planning, implementation, and leading of all marriage related programs and services of the Desert HEART Mentoring MA and PA Program (DH-MMPP).

Program Development

  • Collaborate with leadership to define program strategies aligned with the mission and objectives of Moses House.

  • Identify and prioritize program opportunities that address community needs and align with the organization’s vision

  • Develop comprehensive program plans, timelines, and budgets when necessary, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.

Program Implementation

  • Lead the execution of programs, coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation.

  • Provide clear guidance to staff and volunteers, assigning responsibilities and ensuring proper training and support.

  • Monitor program activities to ensure they adhere to established goals, timelines, and budget constraints.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor program staff, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities.

  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes innovation and creativity. 

 

Community Engagement

  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders to leverage resources and support for programs.

  • Represent the organization at public events, conferences, and meeting to promote programs and foster collaboration. 

 

Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Develop and implement robust monitoring and evaluation systems to assess effectiveness and impact.

  • Regularly review program data, identify trends, and use insights to refine program strategies and improve outcomes.

 

Financial Management

  • Collaborate with leadership in overseeing program budgets, track expenses, and ensure prudent financial management.

  • Seek and secure funding opportunities, grants, and donations to sustain and expand program initiatives.

 

Communication and Reporting

  • Prepare comprehensive program reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Communicate program progress and outcomes to the organization's leadership, board of directors, and external stakeholders.

 

Advocacy and Public Relations

  • Engage in advocacy efforts related to program goals, advocating for policy changes and awareness-building.

  • Cultivate positive public relations by effectively conveying the organization's mission and impact to the media and the public.

Time Requirement

40 hours per week
