Project Director/ Project Manager​
​

Moses House is currently looking to for a leader who will help implement our new Desert HEART Mentoring Marriage and Parenting Program (DH-MMPP). The Program Director will lead a team responsible for carrying out effective ministry to couples with young children through the benefit of marriage education, mentoring and workshops for couples and their children. 

​

Qualifications:

​

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, public administration, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in program development, implementation, or management within human services, education, or nonprofit settings.

  • Experience supervising teams of staff and/or volunteers, including performance management and training.

  • Experience managing grants or federally funded programs, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance.

  • Knowledge of community-based family services, particularly those related to marriage and parenting education or family-strengthening initiatives.

 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong understanding of program planning, evaluation, and continuous quality improvement (CQI) practices.

  • Familiarity with data collection, analysis, and reporting systems (such as nFORM or similar case management databases).

  • Ability to develop and monitor budgets and maintain financial accountability.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for building relationships with staff, partners, and community stakeholders.

  • Capacity to develop MOUs, manage subrecipients, and oversee contract deliverables in alignment with federal grant requirements.

  • Skilled in strategic planning, public speaking, and community engagement.

  • Demonstrated commitment to equity, trauma-informed practices, and family-centered service delivery.

 
Preferred Competencies
  • Experience with Healthy Marriage and Responsible Fatherhood (HMRF) or similar federally funded initiatives.

  • Grant writing or resource development experience to sustain or expand program funding.

  • Familiarity with San Bernardino County’s family service network and collaborative partnerships.

Receptionist - Bilingual​
​

Moses House Ministries is currently seeking a compassionate and organized individual to serve as our Receptionist/Intake Worker (Bilingual Strongly Preferred). This team member will be the first point of contact for families seeking support, providing a welcoming environment and ensuring that clients are connected to the resources and programs that best meet their needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, a heart for service, and a desire to help parents and children experience the life-changing support offered through our ministry.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual: English/ Spanish 

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework preferred).

  • Experience: Prior experience in customer service, office administration, or reception work preferred.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to greet visitors warmly and interact with people from diverse backgrounds.

  • Organization: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in recordkeeping and client intake documentation.

  • Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and willingness to learn data entry into client management systems.

  • Professionalism: Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality when handling client information.

  • Teamwork: Works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to ensure smooth office operations.

  • Attitude: Friendly, compassionate, and patient demeanor consistent with the ministry’s mission of serving families in need.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and occasionally lift or carry up to 20 pounds (for supply distribution).​
