Van Driver

 

Purpose

The Van Driver assists Moses House in carrying out effective ministry to families through the benefit of transportation for clients and their children to critical community services, including Moses House.

Program Director

 

Responsible for

 

  • Pick up clients and their children at home or at a scheduled appointment, transport them to Moses House or other destination, then return them safely home;

  • Perform daily vehicle inspection and regular maintenance checkups and cleaning of van;

  • Maintain daily trip log of activities

  • Pick up and deliver clients in a timely and efficient manner;

  • Maintain a professional work ethic and respect client confidentiality;

  • Direct clients to speak to appropriate Moses House staff if they have program concerns;

  • Report client concerns to Program Director or Case Manager

  • Attend staff meetings as schedule permits;

  • Maintain a positive working relationship with other staff and volunteers, as well as with community partners to whom clients are referred for services;

  • Other duties as needed that will benefit the clients served and contribute to the success of our mission.

  • Maintain routes and schedules according to VVTA contract for brokerage clients.  

 

Time Requirement

20 hours per week - approximate
